I feel a little uncomfortable posting this, but something in your post compels me. I have been on IA since 2006ish . After the Gold Rush. I read reviews of shows and listened to 'em. I didn't even care about the forum > Started checking in '09 > First post this March. I have somewhat of a clue regarding the dynamics and personalities here. Again, I hear your passion, ultimately regarding your feelings of what is proper civil discourse, and your calling out what is not. I respect the drive for civility, but what is civility will never be congruent between any two individuals in the society with free speech. Ever. Only you can give power to another's speech. Life is just too fragile and short, frankly. You are the audience of the Matrix. If you get off, fuck everyone else. I mean how can people not love GD ? Seriously ? If other folks get off on your art than God Bless. Some won't and may say what you regard as nasty speech. It's just the other edge of the response to art. Don't give it power. Easier said then done sometimes, I know, but it will really stress you out for no or little resolution. And a favor, could you give me a few dates of what you consider your masterpieces ? Thanks.

Hey, Hunter - thought I'd chime in as just yesterday a buddy and I were commenting on your Barton Hall '77 matrix. My buddy (my first real trading partner) mentioned that he's been saving your matrices and replacing his Miller sources. We had a good little 'sus so thanks for that!

I don't know if my buddy is here on the archive or what prompted his telling me of the Hunter's Trix, but if you're here buddy - hope the ass cancer is better!

Well said, kid (I think you're a kid anyhow...hope you take it the right way from an old fart; it's ALWAYS a compliment on nothing but my lost youth and broken down old body).

BTW, when I see your handle, I always think of "68" though I know it actually reads "...6vs8..." which is Greek to me.

WT- Since last fall, I'm gourging on '68 . Last year or so moved past '69 as my fav. year. Must be my punk-ish inclinations and/or general love of freakiness- and freaking freely. : }...... And as far as the kid part, flattery will get you nowhere, sir !.... And lately, every time these days, while in the midst of the 11 I think of your handle Stretching the bow. Has this been discussed in depth here on IA ? Does this happen to others? WT., I assume you take full responsibility? Yes ?

Yep; I guess it goes to show if you post long enough and frequently enough, no matter WHAT the content, folks eventually can't get you out of their head (sorta like those irritating songs from commercials or wherever that haunt you for a day after hearing them...?).
